About Us:

Canada West 653 Solutions is a leading provider of industrial sandblasting services, seeking experienced Journeyman Sand Blasters to join our team at our Nisku, Alberta facility.

We are currently working on a large-scale, multi-year project that involves blasting and painting industrial steel for modular units used in the construction of a massive facility.

This project offers a unique opportunity for long-term employment and career advancement, with a competitive hourly wage and bonuses available at 3, 6, and 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform sandblasting tasks, including surface preparation and maintenance of blasting equipment.
  • Ensure all surfaces are thoroughly prepared for painting and coating applications.
  • Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment and tools according to safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and production goals.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Journeyman certification in Sand Blasting or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in industrial sandblasting, particularly on large-scale projects.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts with potential overtime.
