Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Health Care Aide / Caregiver to join our team at Qualicare Home Care. As a member of our home care team, you will work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator to provide various personal care services to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
  • Accompany clients on outings and provide companionship
  • Assist with medication reminders and administration
  • Ambulate and transport clients as needed
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to clients
  • Document and chart client care and progress
Qualifications
  • Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student) is an asset
  • Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to travel around Lower Mainland
  • Access to internet and mobile phone
