Job Title: Project Manager Office F/H

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Primaris REIT in Toronto, ON.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic people operations support to multiple locations across our portfolio. This includes talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, organizational design, employee engagement, learning & development, data reporting & analysis, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the P+C resource to a specific group of locations across the portfolio, providing excellent & timely support and coaching & counseling to employees and management in the areas of talent acquisition & planning, employee relations, benefits, compensation, reward & recognition, learning & development, organizational effectiveness, absence management, succession planning, policies & programs, performance management, performance reviews, and terminations
  • Play a key role in the cyclical P+C programs such as performance reviews, employee experience surveys, total rewards & compensation programs
  • Provide expert guidance on the interpretation and practical applications of HR policies, procedures, processes, and relevant legislation
  • In conjunction with the Talent Acquisition Specialist, proactively participate in key talent acquisition decisions as well as talent management initiatives
  • Work closely with the Director, P+C to create and execute data-driven people strategies
  • Build credibility with management to achieve goals and maximize their teams and talent
  • Ensure consistency in all execution of P+C policies and practices
  • Maintain knowledge and compliance of trends, employment laws & regulations, best practices and regulatory changes in all aspects of human resources especially legislative requirements
  • Review policies regularly to maintain compliance and recommend best practices
  • Participate as the Employer Representative on the Head Office Health & Safety committee
  • Work closely with the Director, People + Culture to deliver high quality, innovative P+C programming across the entire organization
  • Provide reporting and analysis to Director, People + Culture and various leaders across the organization, as needed
Requirements:
  • Bilingualism (French/English) an asset
  • Intermediate level MS Office skills
  • Strong customer focus with ability to support/influence in a multi-site environment
