About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Specialist to join our team at Pro Cargo Canada Ltd. as a key member of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit detailed reports on logistics operations, including shipment tracking and cost analysis.
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Logistics Operations
    • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including freight forwarding, shipping, and receiving.
    • Prepare and process import and export documents, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.
    • Compute shipping costs and quote fares and rates to clients.
    • Arrange for shipping, receiving, and storage of goods.
  • Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high levels of attention to detail.
    • Work under pressure to meet client expectations and deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role, with a focus on freight forwarding and shipping operations.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
