About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Health Group. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' physical and cognitive functioning in a clinical setting, including job demands analyses, functional capacity evaluations, and cognitive abilities evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning.
  • Educate clients on topics such as safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities.
  • Support return-to-work programs, including job coaching and accommodation recommendations.
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Participate in case conferences and case management.
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team at your clinic.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy students (as preferred).
  • Network with stakeholders to promote Lifemark OT programs.
  • Manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • 3-5 years of previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions is preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WSIB referrals is a strong asset.
  • Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
