About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team at Karl J. Wiker and Sons Landscaping Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, laying sod or seed, and planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.

Work Environment

As a Landscape Labourer, you will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants
  • Lay sod or seed
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Own transportation

Working Conditions

This is a seasonal position with 40 to 45 hours of work per week. You will be required to work in a variety of locations, including private residences, and may be required to travel to different work sites.
