Job Details

We are seeking a Co-op Student to join our Enterprise Risk Services team for an 8-month term. As a trusted advisor, you will deliver tailored corporate governance and risk management solutions to our clients, empowering them to achieve their goals while protecting their business.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) engagements to assist clients in evaluating their business processes and controls.
  • Assess business processes and internal controls across a range of industries and identify opportunities for improvement, including automation of processes and controls.
  • Facilitate collaboration with the client engagement team prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, materiality, and deadlines.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative ideas and approaches to improve work processes.
  • Attend internal MNP courses to further develop knowledge around enterprise risk.
  • Participate in the delivery of additional Enterprise Risk Services, including compliance audits, internal audit, data analytics, enterprise risk management, and business resilience, as necessary.

Requirements

  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or other related field.
  • Working towards CPA designation after graduation.
  • Customer service and/or client service experience is considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel, mainly in Canada.
