Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Class 3 Garbage Truck Driver to join our team at Waste Connections of Canada Inc. in Vancouver, BC. As a Residential Garbage Truck Driver, you will be responsible for collecting waste and recyclables in various municipalities, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a 5-ton garbage truck to collect waste and recyclables from residential areas
  • Ensure all materials are transported and disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service, interacting with residents and responding to their needs
  • Meet or exceed performance standards, including productivity and safety metrics

Requirements:

  • Class 3 License or higher
  • Excellent driving record and a strong commitment to safety
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with residents
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment tests and assessments
