Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 2220206 Alberta Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
  • Load buspans and trays
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Place dishes in storage area
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used
  • Package take-out food
  • Portion and wrap foods
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Take customers' orders
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
Work Environment:

The Food Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail required.

Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Reliability, team player, initiative, dependability, and positive attitude
  • Dental plan, health care plan, vision care benefits, and permanent employment
  • 40 to 44 hours per week
  • English language
