Position Title: Senior Aviation Trainer - Civil Aircraft Engine Maintenance

As a Senior Aviation Trainer specializing in Civil Aircraft Engine Maintenance, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering expert mentorship to apprentice jet engine technicians throughout their hands-on training in a workshop setting.
  • Ensuring that both practical and theoretical training materials are effectively delivered and documented in alignment with the training framework, while also developing innovative training content and methodologies.
  • Functioning as a certified lead trainer and engine technician, which includes providing on-the-job training, overseeing, and validating the work completed.
  • Assisting trainees by recognizing their strengths and areas for improvement, implementing developmental strategies, and tracking progress and outcomes.

* Additional responsibilities as assigned or required

Qualifications:

  • Completion of technical training.
  • 3-5 years of advanced engine mechanic experience with outstanding performance and relevant certifications.
  • LEAP authorization is necessary at the commencement of the role, with training provided if needed.
  • In-depth understanding of aviation regulations, internal procedures, interrelations, and operational guidelines.
  • A passion for leading, guiding, and inspiring team members.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to undertake domestic and international assignments, including extended periods in specific regions.
  • Training opportunities available in various locations.
  • A valid work permit in Canada is required.
