Job Title: General Practitioner

MOUNTAIN VIEW MEDICAL CENTRE is seeking a highly skilled General Practitioner to join our team. As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary care to patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing routine check-ups, and prescribing medications.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect medical information from patients and their families to understand their health needs.
  • Examine patients to identify diseases and injuries, and develop treatment plans to address their health concerns.
  • Order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
  • Consult with other medical professionals to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed.
  • Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
Requirements:
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II)
Work Environment:
  • Urban area
  • Private practice
  • Clinic
Experience:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Permanent position
  • 40 hours per week
