Job Title: Certified Meat Cutter-FT

Job Summary:

The Meat Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a superior customer service experience by coaching and developing friendly, well-trained staff. This role involves supervising the department and staff, acting as the go-to person in the absence of the Department Manager and Assistant, and fostering customer loyalty, fulfilling customer needs, and actively contributing to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the meat department and staff to ensure excellent customer service and a positive work environment.
  • Coach and develop staff to improve their skills and knowledge, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to meet customer needs.
  • Act as the go-to person in the absence of the Department Manager and Assistant, making decisions and taking charge of the department as needed.
  • Foster customer loyalty by actively engaging with customers, responding to their needs, and providing exceptional service.
  • Contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement by promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months of experience in a similar role.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full knowledge of department operations and skills.
