We are seeking a skilled Vineyard Worker to join our team at Gallucci Winery Inc. As a Vineyard Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our vineyards.
Key Responsibilities:- Crop Maintenance: Clean the crops, clear fields of wood and stones, and maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes.
- Fertilization and Irrigation: Mix fertilizer, fertilize and spray crops, and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
- Harvesting: Pick row and orchard crops, harvest crops, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair farm equipment, including tractors, fertilizer applicators, and planters.
- Transportation: Ensure safe transportation of personnel and equipment, and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgment, and reliability.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and physically demanding conditions.
