Job Title: Gift Processing and Donor Services Assistant

At Daily Bread Food Bank, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Fundraising and Development team as a Gift Processing and Donor Services Assistant. This role is responsible for accurately processing donations, updating donor records, and providing exceptional customer service to our donors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and process incoming donations in a timely and accurate manner
  • Enter donation data into Raisers Edge, our donor database
  • Prepare and mail acknowledgement letters and receipts to donors
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors via phone and in-person
  • Assist with routine data maintenance and prepare mail merges for mass mailings
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience with donation data entry and Raisers Edge
  • 1-2 years of experience in general office administration and customer service
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good oral communication skills and ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
