About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team at Westrich Construction Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our engineering services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Engineering Specifications and Drawings

Assist in the development of engineering specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Participate in Field Surveys and Inspections

Participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to gather data and information for engineering projects.

Prepare Construction Specifications and Estimates

Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates to support project planning and execution.

Prepare Engineering Designs and Drawings

Prepare engineering designs and drawings to support project development and implementation.

Prepare Project Schedules

Prepare project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects and meet client expectations.

Supervise Field Surveys and Inspections

Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and testing of construction materials to ensure quality and compliance.

Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week in a fast-paced engineering services environment.

Language and Communication

The successful candidate will be fluent in English and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
