About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Supervisor to join our team at 4498394 Nova Scotia Limited. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of 3-4 sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, including receiving and processing shipments, and conducting regular stock takes.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their needs, providing recommendations and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Operations: Authorize payments, manage cash handling, and operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop sales staff to improve their skills and knowledge, and provide feedback and coaching to ensure they meet performance expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions

The Sales Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
