Patient Services Manager

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Services Manager to join their Allied Health team. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient functioning of a clinical program/unit, providing leadership and direction for operations management, utilization and risk management, and quality improvement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare leadership, with experience in managing clinical programs and teams. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient care, quality, and safety, as well as fostering collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care, quality, and safety
- Provide leadership and direction for operations management, utilization and risk management, and quality improvement
- Foster collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective use of resources
- Lead and manage interdisciplinary teams, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Baccalaureate (Masters preferred) in a relevant health care profession, supplemented with leadership and business management courses
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of recent, related clinical and progressive leadership experience, including direct supervisory experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a complex interdisciplinary environment
