About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Retail Deposit product team. As an AVP Consumer Deposits and Channels, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic roadmap for our Retail Deposit products, including B2C, agents, and fintech solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the backlog and roadmap for Retail Deposits in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Design and manage pricing strategies for Retail Deposit products to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Oversee the profit and loss of Retail Deposit products, managing balances and ensuring growth in targeted channels and products.
  • Manage projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timely completion, and budget adherence.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments to inform strategic adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop direct reports through ongoing performance development.

Requirements
  • 8-10+ years of experience in or supporting deposit management, banking operations, financial services, or Fintech/Banking-adjacent with a focus on retail deposits.
  • 5+ years of experience leading a team in a professional setting.
  • Master's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field. Alternatively, a background in software engineering with the prerequisite business experience.
  • Product Owner Certification (e.g., Certified Scrum), or similar, an asset.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams, including Product Owners and Business Systems Analysts.
  • Strong experience and proven strategic planning, product marketing, roadmap design and execution, setting pricing strategies (including experience in FTP curves), with P&L accountability.
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience in managing project delivery, cost control, and financial performance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and external partners.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
What We Offer

Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $140,000.00 and $155,000.00 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience that the chosen candidate possesses.
