Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at YYC PASTA BAR INC. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Operational Procedures
Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Supervise and Coordinate Food Service StaffLead and direct the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
Inventory Management and BudgetingEstimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate inventory management and budgeting.
Staff Management and DevelopmentHire and manage food service staff, ensuring they meet the high standards of our establishment.
Quality Control and AssuranceEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Reporting and Record KeepingPrepare and submit reports, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Work Environment and Physical Demands- Fast-Paced Environment
Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Physical DemandsStand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Attention to DetailMaintain attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
Repetitive TasksPerform repetitive tasks, requiring stamina and endurance.
Requirements- Experience
1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
LanguageFluency in English is required.
Work Schedule32 to 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime required.
