About the Role

Applicants should have demonstrated experience in, and commitment to undergraduate teaching. Responsibilities include instructing students, facilitating learning, and evaluating student progress in College courses. The successful candidate will plan, organize, and manage learning activities and resources, provide academic advice to learners, and maintain quality inclusive, learner-centered instruction.

Key Requirements

  • A completed PhD in Philosophy is strongly preferred, but applicants who are ABD in Philosophy may be considered.
  • Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate teaching excellence through a record of student evaluations in relevant courses.
  • Teaching evaluations, letters of reference, and proof of credentials may be requested from candidates who are shortlisted.
  • Future contract work after Fall 2024 may be offered if courses are available.
