About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team in Toronto, ON. As a key contributor to the Commercial Finance Manager team, you will be responsible for accounting, reporting, and controls, as well as strategic business partner support for the Six Pints Taprooms and Retail businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business owners to understand underlying business processes and improve the bottom line of national Retail and Taproom performance.
  • Manage full P&L for national Retail and Taproom locations in partnership with business owners.
  • Prepare, analyze, and review periodic financial performance with business owners and support month-end close and forecast processes.
  • Support and facilitate annual financial budgeting process.
  • Support and participate in financial activities to drive improvement to EBITDA and eliminate losses.
  • Coordinate and participate in month-end close, including balance sheet account reconciliation, journal entries, intercompany transactions, system issue resolution, and physical inventory counts.
  • Prepare business cases for innovation products by identifying and conducting fact-checking for all assertions for Net Sales Revenue, Costs, Logistics, and Marketing, and highlighting the R&Os associated with the launch.
  • Supervise Retail and Taproom Coordinator on daily activities and deliverables.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Payroll (CPA preferred).
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Accounting, Reporting, or Financial Analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with understanding of business priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
  • Accountability for results, acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
