Job Title: Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Dimaggios Restaurant INC. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Team Management: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The Line Cook will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on attention to detail, physical demands, and working under pressure.
