The Role

As an Associate DevOps Engineer, you'll be part of the Vault DevOps team, which utilizes modern technologies and best practices to ensure that our engineering team develops and deploys Vault with quality and speed. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, creating, and supporting a large-scale, fully automated environment that creates hundreds of AWS instances, answers thousands of questions, and executes millions of test cases daily
  • Working with senior members of the Vault Engineering team to innovate and create tools and processes that improve the quality and speed of product delivery
  • Writing code to make it easy for the Vault team to get the answers they need quickly and efficiently

Requirements

  • Located near Toronto, Ontario, and able to work in the office 4 days/week
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
  • Proficiency in Java and/or Python
  • Desire to work in enterprise software
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical major with a 3.0 GPA or higher

  • Working knowledge of Continuous Integration Frameworks (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Deployment Frameworks (Ansible, etc.)

Compensation

  • Base pay: $90,000 - $115,000
  • This role offers a comprehensive benefits package.
