Job Title: School Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a School Assistant. As a School Assistant, you will provide supervisory support to teaching staff during lunch periods, ensuring a safe and positive environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise students during lunch periods, maintaining a safe and orderly environment
  • Assist teaching staff with administrative tasks, such as attendance and record-keeping
  • Provide support with student supervision, including monitoring student behavior and addressing any concerns
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and well-being
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school setting an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
