Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at ALDRED RESTAURANTS LTD dba McDonalds Restaurants. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fast food restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Supervise and manage a team of more than 20 people, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Operational Planning: Develop and implement operational plans to achieve business objectives, including determining the type of services to be offered and implementing operational procedures.
- Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, as well as negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, addressing their complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, including negotiating with clients for catering or use of facilities.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, including conducting regular safety inspections and implementing procedures to prevent accidents.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a fast food restaurant or related field.
- Language: English.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in accounting software, electronic cash registers, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, large workload, and overtime required.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
