About the Role

Avison Young is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Real Estate Associate to join our team. As a key member of our brokerage team, you will be responsible for securing new business opportunities and generating revenue channels through developing and maintaining a network of clients and prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Active Commercial Real Estate License required
  • Police Information Check (PIC) as a requirement of the commercial real estate license
  • Class 5 Driver's License required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to multi-task
  • Adaptability to new technology, systems, and processes
  • Ability to work within deadlines and timelines
  • Ability to keep confidential records and client information
  • Proficiency in real estate software and Microsoft Office Suite

Accountabilities

  • This position works with minimal oversight and is largely self-driven
  • Accountable to the Brokerage Team as a productive and active member
  • Accountable to all clients and customers as their representative
  • Accountable to all professional standards and codes of conduct as described by the Real Estate Council of Alberta

  • Office controlled environment; temperature controlled

  • Stationary position for extended periods of time

Qualifications

  • Active Commercial Real Estate License required
  • Police Information Check (PIC) as a requirement of the commercial real estate license
