Lead Certified Dental Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Certified Dental Assistant to join our team at Middlegate Burnaby Dentist in Burnaby, BC. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering outstanding treatment assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding treatment assistance to our dentists, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient treatment delivery.
  • Prepare the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Support the development and implementation of dental practice management software, such as Tracker.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, demonstrating exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Certified Dental Assisting program.
  • Registered or in process of registering with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals.
  • 4-5 years of experience in a dental setting, with a strong background in dental practice management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families, with a customer service mindset.
