About the Job

Mehraz Building Dreams Inc. is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and efficient installation processes.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to create a stable and even surface.
  • Install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, ensuring that all installations meet our quality standards.
  • Estimate costs and materials, providing accurate quotes to clients and ensuring that all installations are completed within budget.
  • Prepare floors for installations, removing existing floor coverings and contaminants as needed.
  • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces, using knee kickers and other equipment to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Perform direct glue-down carpet installations, ensuring that all installations meet our quality standards.
  • Install outdoor carpets, providing a durable and long-lasting solution for our clients.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in flooring installation, with a focus on carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, with the ability to lift heavy loads and work in a variety of environments.
