About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Quality Modeler to lead and direct water quality modeling and assessment work in the Canadian mining sector. This position is based in western Canada, with the option to work from one of our Vancouver, Calgary, or Edmonton offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee staff working on large-scale projects, including interactions with other disciplines
  • Develop and review project scopes, schedules, and budgets
  • Manage and analyze data, providing quality control for data collection and management
  • Supervise and train junior and intermediate staff to develop their technical skills
  • Actively promote a culture of health and safety
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and business development opportunities
Requirements
  • University degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or similar
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in water quality modeling, with knowledge of multiple software packages
  • Proven experience in managing teams and delivering work products in a timely fashion
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management and technical skills
