  • Review and understand building systems trade contractor quality-management programs.
  • Witness on-site field testing and record results.
  • Oversee the commissioning process, including scheduling, testing activities, and project close-out.
  • Chair meetings related to building systems.

  • Attend management and architect meetings related to building systems.
  • Adhere to and support internal safety programs.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.

  • Tradesperson or post-secondary diploma/degree in a related discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical, controls) is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Co-op or relevant experience in a construction environment preferred.

  • Familiarity with construction progress and sequencing.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks with conflicting deadlines, and delegate tasks.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and become proficient with new software.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
