We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician, RVT to join our team at MacKay Animal Hospital in Whitby, ON.
About the Role:As a Veterinary Technician, RVT, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting veterinarians with medical procedures, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgical preparation and patient recovery
- Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients and their pet parents
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Develop strong problem-solving skills and ask clarifying questions to facilitate effective solution-finding
- Collaborate with colleagues and pet parents to provide exceptional customer service

- A Veterinary Technician program diploma or equivalent
- Eligibility to register in Ontario
