About the Role:

Fath Industries, a proud member of THE FATH Group, is seeking a skilled Concrete Form Setter to join our team on a seasonal, full-time basis. As a Concrete Form Setter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects in Edmonton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lay out forms according to specifications, utilizing your ability to make calculations and ensure accuracy.
  • Form sidewalks, curb, gutter, and ramps with precision and attention to detail.
  • Clear work sites of tools, debris, and equipment, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
  • Perform all tasks with a strong focus on safety consciousness and adherence to company protocols.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of concrete form setting experience, with a strong understanding of concrete finishing and construction industry principles.
  • Knowledge of percentage of slope and tape readings, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Ability to work continuously for prolonged periods, under pressure, and in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle for commuting to different sites.
  • High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Additional Information:

  • This is a seasonal position, typically starting in the springtime annually.
  • This role is eligible for overtime and may require travel outside of Edmonton.
  • Training will be provided for various activities, and excellent wages and benefit eligibility will be offered after 3 months of employment.
  • Potential on-call work during the winter months for snow removal and early spring sweeping season.
