Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Associate to join our Private Wealth team at BMO. As an Investment Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional client service and building long-term relationships with our high net worth clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess individual client investment needs and provide customized investment advice and sales support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies that meet client needs and risk tolerance.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to expand business relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and economic conditions to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in investment sales or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian securities laws and regulations.
  • Registration as a Registered Representative (RR) with the IIROC.
  • Compliance with mandatory IIROC Continuing Education Program requirements.
  • Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
