About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Quinte Health. As a key member of our medical imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Administer Radiopharmaceuticals

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients or biological samples, ensuring accurate and safe handling of these materials.

Perform Diagnostic Procedures

Perform diagnostic procedures using radioactive materials on biological specimens, utilizing your expertise to obtain high-quality images and data.

Record and Process Patient Data

Record and process patient data, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records to support patient care and treatment.

Provide Patient Care and Monitoring

Provide appropriate care and monitoring of patients during examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certification

Certification of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists and certification by a provincial or territorial association are required for this role.

Work Setting

This position is based in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Language

English is the primary language of communication for this role, with the ability to work effectively in this language being essential.

Hours and Work Term

This is a permanent position, with a work term of 30 to 37.5 hours per week.
