Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to join our team at Compassion. As a live-in caregiver, you will provide personalized support and care to our clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Household Management: Maintain a clean and organized living environment, including laundry, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
- Companionship: Engage in activities with clients, such as reading, watching movies, or going for walks.
- Errands: Accompany clients on errands, such as grocery shopping or banking.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in caregiving or a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English or French.
- Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Personal Qualities: Punctuality, dependability, good judgement, and a high level of organization and reliability.
As a live-in caregiver, you will be working in a residential setting, providing one-on-one care to our clients. You will be required to work a 40-hour week, with occasional overtime as needed.
