About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grocery Store Supervisor to join our team at M&A O'Connor Holdings Inc. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our grocery store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure accurate inventory reporting.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive customer experience by addressing customer complaints, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service.
  • Store Operations: Oversee store opening and closing procedures, manage cash handling and security, and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  • Merchandising and Visual Displays: Plan and implement effective merchandising strategies, create visually appealing displays, and maintain store appearance.
  • Area of Specialization: Develop and maintain expertise in retail store operations, including knowledge of retail systems, inventory management, and customer service principles.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and maintain a high level of manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate accuracy, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organization, reliability, and team player qualities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 5 years or more in a retail or grocery store environment.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
