Job Title: Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to support our laboratory operations. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment, operating laboratory apparatus, and setting up chemical experiments, tests, and analyses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
  • Operate laboratory apparatus and instruments with precision
  • Set up and conduct chemical experiments, tests, and analyses
  • Compile accurate records for analytical studies
  • Apply knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and MS Office to support laboratory operations
  • Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement health and safety measures
  • Conduct safety training programs to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Skills:
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Excel
