About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at 1366491 B.C. LTD. as a key member of our agricultural operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivation and Crop Management: Oversee the cultivation of crops on our vertical farming system, ensuring optimal growth and yield.
  • Task Organization and Supervision: Organize and coordinate tasks to achieve efficient work completion, overseeing the activities of clearing the fields and ensuring timely completion.
  • Agricultural Services: Provide a range of agricultural services, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting, to maintain high-quality crop production.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers, ensuring effective teamwork and productivity.
  • Quality Control and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate quality control and production records, monitoring and reporting on crop performance and farm operations.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team, contributing to the success of our agricultural operations.
  • Machinery and Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • General Farm Duties: Perform a range of general farm duties, including maintaining farm infrastructure and ensuring a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related agricultural role
  • Work Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week
