Food Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Department Manager to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the Food Department and ensuring a high level of customer service and task completion.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers with product information, and resolving customer issues.
- Assist in providing direction and coordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Food Assistant Manager and the Store Management Team.
- Assess the overall presentation of the Food Department and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes as required.
- Delegate, assist, and follow up on completion of daily Customer Availability Process tasks.
- Support with scheduling as needed.
- Assign associates to support with coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.
- Participate in the training and development of Food Associates, and provide feedback as needed.
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures.
