Exciting Opportunity: Cyber Defense Analyst

Mackenzie Health is in search of a skilled Cyber Defense Analyst to enhance their Technology Services division. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in advancing the organization's Cyber Security initiatives and ensuring adherence to industry regulations and best practices. This position provides the chance to engage with innovative IT solutions and contribute to a secure operational framework.

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to formulate and uphold cyber security protocols
  • Engage in threat evaluation, penetration assessments, and incident management
  • Execute vulnerability assessments and pinpoint security weaknesses
  • Develop and enforce security safeguards and strategies
  • Remain informed on industry developments and emerging threats

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Certification in CISSP, CISM, or CISA
  • At least 5 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 3 years focused on cyber security

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency with SIEM, TRA, and penetration testing methodologies
  • Familiarity with NIST, ISO27001, and other security standards
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
