Sales Support Associate III

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Associate to join our team at Coach, a leading design house of modern luxury accessories and lifestyle collections. As a Sales Support Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our store by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-organized sales floor, and supporting the flow of product from receipt to point of sale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Wrap:
    • Greet customers with a smile and offer assistance
    • Interact genuinely with customers and determine their needs
    • Conduct email/name capture, where permitted by law
    • Maintain accuracy when operating POS
    • Maintain cash wrap organization and cleanliness
    • Suggest multiple add-ons and sell gift cards
    • Maintain cash and POS media accurately and in compliance with Coach policy
    • Create a lasting impression by thanking customers and providing a reason to return
    • Represent the Coach brand appropriately
  • Stockroom / Warehouse:
    • Receive shipments and transfers
    • Notify Store Management when new product arrives
    • Scan cartons/transfers, verifying store information is correct
    • Communicate discrepancies to Store Management
    • Process shipments/transfers according to Coach standards and timeframes
    • Organize and clean the stockroom daily
    • Shift/organize product in the stockroom to make room for new product
    • Manage stock levels/product ownership in back-of-house and sales floor
    • Prepare and conduct regular cycle counts, as directed
    • Participate in store physical inventory counts, as scheduled
    • Maintain Company Loss Prevention standards
  • Sales Floor:
    • Analyze the sales floor to assess replenishment needs
    • Replenish sales floor/assigned zone
    • React to sell through and execute visual merchandising needs
    • Support sales floor activities, as directed
    • Effectively communicate information to customers
    • Respond to customer requests confidently
    • Upkeep housekeeping standards
  • Operations:
    • Complete daily operational tasks, including maintaining the store, cash wrap, and visual merchandising
    • Adhere to all retail policies and procedures
    • Leverage Coach's tools and technology to support relationship building and clienteling efforts
    • Replenish inventory on the sales floor as needed
    • Process shipments as needed

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of previous selling experience in a luxury retail service environment preferred
  • Possesses current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Knowledge of cash registers systems, basic computer skills, and ability to use iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, and Internet
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team
  • Mobility to maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to five pounds and at times lift and carry product/cartons up to fifty pounds
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
