About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Analyst to join our team at 7299362 Canada Inc. as a Software Technical Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, applications, and software.
  • Consult technical manuals, user guides, and other documents to research and implement solutions to technical issues.
  • Offer advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring they have the necessary skills to use our systems effectively.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software to improve user experience and efficiency.
  • Supervise other technical support workers in this group, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Offer customer service, responding to user inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage incidents, ensuring that technical issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, using a variety of tools and techniques to identify and fix issues.
  • Research and evaluate a variety of software products to ensure they meet our business needs.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • College/CEGEP education in a relevant field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience with Jira, Internet, desktop applications, Word processing software, MS Office, MS Windows, SQL, and Machine Learning is an asset.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week in a hybrid work environment.
