About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database PL/SQL Developer to join our team at Tyler Technologies. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex database components using PL/SQL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop lean, secure, and well-documented PL/SQL code using modern design techniques and industry best practices.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot software issues to determine root causes and provide solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and QA in an Agile development process to ensure effective communication among all stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain complex analytical and financial reports using Oracle PL/SQL.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in computer science, computer engineering, math, or relevant coursework; or comparable work experience.
  • At least one year of experience in software development, including object-oriented design and programming.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience and deep knowledge of SQL, development of Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, and database performance optimization.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
