Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 1001461 BC Ltd.
Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training staff, and authorizing payments and returns. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including sales workers, apprentices, and design team members.
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training.
- Authorize payments by cheque and returns of merchandise.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory.
- Manage cash and conduct performance reviews.
- Supervise office and volunteer staff.
- 3-4 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a team of staff. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work:40 hours per week.
