Job Title: Accounting Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at Olaya Management & Accounting Inc.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in accounting software, database software, MS Excel, MS Word, and QuickBooks.
  • Area of Specialization: Accounting.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation or public transportation available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Computer, internet access, and office equipment and supplies.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, and time management.
  • Screening Questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada? Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location? Do you have previous experience in this field of employment? Work Term: Permanent. Work Language: English. Hours: 40 hours per week.
