Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Victoria Corners Esso is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Authorize returns and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct performance reviews to ensure that staff members are meeting their goals and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
Work Environment:

Our retail store operates in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a dynamic team environment.
