Job Title: Application Security Specialist

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Application Security Specialist to ensure the security and integrity of our cloud computing environment and protect our customers.

About the Role
  • Conduct thorough security reviews to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards
  • Design and implement secure architecture for applications and services
  • Develop and maintain security tools and automation to streamline security processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security issues
  • Provide expert guidance to internal development teams on security best practices
  • Develop and maintain security metrics and deliver insights to stakeholders

Requirements
  • 3+ years of programming experience in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java,.Net, C++ or similar object-oriented language
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as DNS and TCP/IP
  • Preferred qualifications: threat modeling experience, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration and network security experience

  • Competitive base salary range: $137,800 - $230,100 per year
  • Equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package
