Position Overview

Job Summary

At HSE Integrated, we provide critical medical services across various sectors, ensuring the safety and well-being of personnel in challenging environments such as oil fields, pipelines, and industrial sites. As an Emergency Medical Responder, you will encounter a variety of situations that require both bravery and empathy, directly impacting the lives of individuals through your professional actions.

Key Information:
Location: Remote Industrial Sites
Accommodation: Provided (dependent on lodging arrangements)
Work Schedule: Rotational shifts (3 weeks on, 1 week off)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies within an industrial context.
  • Evaluate and manage patients' injuries, determining appropriate treatment plans.
  • Administer first aid and support to injured personnel.
  • Communicate effectively with emergency services regarding the status and treatment of injured workers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of medical vehicles and treatment areas.
  • Adhere to all reporting and communication protocols concerning incidents and treatments.
  • Keep patient medical records confidential and compliant with regulatory standards.

Desired Attributes:

  • Proven ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations, especially when dealing with distressed patients.
  • A caring yet assertive demeanor, capable of taking charge in emergencies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize urgent medical needs alongside routine tasks.
  • Dependable and effective in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and unrestricted registration as an Emergency Medical Responder with the relevant provincial authority.
  • Current class 5 driver's license.
  • Previous experience as an EMR is required.
  • Experience in industrial settings is advantageous.

At HSE Integrated, we offer competitive hourly rates in accordance with Employment Standards, including overtime compensation. Travel and orientation expenses are covered, along with accommodation provisions.
