Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Manjit S Gauba Professional Corporation. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in this field
Work Environment

Our office is easily accessible by public transportation, and free parking is available. We offer a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
