Key Responsibilities

As part of the Personal and Business Banking division, you will lead and mentor a team of client service and financial service experts, all working towards a unified objective – enhancing client satisfaction and strengthening client connections. In your role as a Client Advisory Manager, you will motivate your team to excel while promoting a collaborative approach that ensures each client receives tailored advice to address their financial requirements. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, is essential, as is the ability to serve at various banking locations within a reasonable commuting distance.

  • Client-Centric Approach - Model exemplary behavior by demonstrating how to cultivate client relationships and fulfill their financial needs while maintaining a high service standard. Encourage your team to swiftly address client concerns, escalating issues when necessary, and manage complex challenges effectively. Empower clients to utilize self-service options.
  • Performance-Driven Leadership - Foster a collaborative culture across diverse client offerings, ensuring clients are served by the most qualified individuals to meet their financial objectives. Assist the Banking Centre Leader in evaluating business performance, implementing action plans to address any deficiencies, and collaborating with all partners to enhance overall banking centre results.
  • Team Leadership - Establish a positive, team-oriented, and productive work atmosphere by acknowledging your team's contributions. Lead and mentor a successful client service and financial services team. Advocate for Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce within the community to attract individuals who embody our values.

  • Professional Credentials - You hold current accreditation and maintain good standing with a Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada). Additional qualifications such as Branch Compliance Officer's Course (BCO), Branch Managers Examination Course (BME), Conducts & Practices Handbook (CPH), Wealth Management Essentials (WME), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) are advantageous.
